1. Data we collect
- Newsletter & lead forms: email address, and any name/company/role you choose to provide.
- Accounts & API keys: email address and authentication metadata required to issue and manage keys.
- Payments: processed by Stripe and Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details; we receive transaction status and billing identifiers from the processor.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 (cookies/identifiers, pages viewed, approximate location, device information) to understand usage and improve the platform.
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, and request metadata, used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the newsletter, alerts, and content you subscribed to
- To provision and secure API access and paid subscriptions
- To measure content performance and improve the platform
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and attacks against the platform
We do not sell personal data. We do not share subscriber lists with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Third-party processors
- Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics
- Stripe / Razorpay — payment processing
- Resend (email delivery) — transactional and newsletter email
- Vercel — hosting and content delivery
- Upstash Redis — API rate limiting and key management
Each processor handles data under its own privacy terms and only as needed to provide its service.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar identifiers for analytics (GA4) and for remembering preferences. You can block cookies in your browser; core content remains accessible without them.
5. Retention
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account and billing records are kept as long as your subscription is active and as required for tax and accounting law. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' retention settings. Server logs are retained for a limited operational window.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can unsubscribe from email at any time via the link in every message. Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and India under the DPDP Act), you may have additional statutory rights. To exercise any right, email bivash@cyberdudebivash.com.
7. Security
The platform is served over HTTPS with hardened security headers. API access is authenticated and rate-limited. Payment credentials never touch our servers.
8. Children
The platform is intended for professional audiences and not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
9. Changes
We will update this policy as the platform evolves and change the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
